The morning light of God’s love is breaking through for us at Lutheran Church of Hope, and through us for the world!

We are the farmers. God’s word is the seed. The world is the soil … and we’ve got some planting and harvesting to do!

That’s why we are embarking on this important, Christ-centered, Bible-based, pressure-free giving campaign called “Building Hope 4 the World!”

A new day is about to dawn, fresh and full of promise, with a vision from God to be a radical, transformational church, reflecting the light of God’s abundant love to hundreds of thousands all over the world, making heaven way more crowded for eternity!

Thank You

December 2011

Dear Hope Family,

Thank you for your enthusiastic participation in "Building Hope 4 the World." This Bible-based and prayer-driven giving campaign has been a time of transformation, growth, and miracles. We praised God for the past two decades of Hope's history, and caught a glimpse of the even greater vision he has planned for our future!

All three of the campaign goals were exceeded beyond our highest expectations: we connected to God and each other, celebrated God's abundant blessings, and contributed cheerfully to God's mission through the church.

Your overwhelming generosity – over $12 million committed to "Building Hope 4 the World" over the next two years, in addition to regular offerings – means that Hope will save over $6 million in interest on the building loan, become a 50/50 church (half of all offerings designated for outreach) and burn the mortgage by December 6, 2014 … that's 15 years ahead of schedule!

If you missed it and would like to contribute, you can still give online (or at Hope) to the Building Hope 4 the World Fund, the General Fund (ongoing ministries), or the Hope for Eternity Foundation (wills, trusts, gift annuities to expand God's Kingdom for decades to come).

That's purely an invitation, not a statement laced with underlying pressure, guilt, or even practical need. Truth is, God doesn't need our offerings nearly as much as we need to give them. Learning to give with cheerful hearts sets us free
(1 Timothy 6:6-19, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15,
Malachi 3:10
).

Thanks again, Hope, for your faithfulness! To God be the glory!

In Christ's Love,
Mike Housholder, Senior Pastor
